FREEMANSBURG, Pa. (June 10, 2012) - Nate Redmann took his second AMA Pro Hillclimb Xtreme class win in as many races when he set the fast time of the day at the Bushkill Valley MC hillclimb on June 10. Shane Green climbed to the top of the Unlimited class podium and Ian Lau took top honors in Pro Sport. In Exhibition Hill-Cross, Bryan Rusnak clinched the win in a three-way elbow-to-elbow charge up the hill.

The Xtreme class seems to be all about Redmann with three class championships behind him and two wins already this year. He rode early in the first half and laid down the perfect ride and the time to beat- 10.887 seconds, except no one did. Green was just four-tenths off the pace for second and Phil Libhart rode a second slower for third.

Green set the pace in the Unlimited first half with a 12.129 E.T. with Anthony DeHart and Libhart on his heels. After intermission, Jay Sallstrom and Vinny Nuzzolilli posted rides just a tenth and four-tenths, respectively, behind Green to overtake the number two and three podium steps.

Pro Sport Class round one winner, Chris Chartier, Jr. looked to repeat when he set fast time in the class on his second ride. Five riders later he watched class champion, Ian Lau, shave off nearly two-tenths for a 16.117-second ride and the win. Rookie, Jacob Crider came in third with an 18.568-second ride.

Exhibition Hill-Cross offered wild side-by-side action with expert riders on Pro-Sport 450's. Winners from three two-bike heats went to the three-way final with Rusnak in the lead followed by John Koester and Colby McCutcheon.

AMA Pro Hillclimbers met again just three days later for round three at Canaan, NH for the Shawn P. Farnsworth Memorial Hillclimb on June 13. Results from that round are available at http://www.amaproracing.com/hc/ and a race report from that round will be released soon.
