DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 12, 2013) - AMA Pro Hillclimb fans in New York will be pleased to learn that the series will be heading to Swain Resort, NY on July 21, 2013. The event will be a significant opportunity for fans to not only enjoy the exciting AMA Pro Hillclimb action, but also be exposed to the elegance and versatility of the Swain Resort Property.

Swain Resort is typically known for its winter fun on the slopes. However, this July will be a major opportunity for race fans to enjoy upstate New York in the summer time as the exciting AMA Pro Hillclimb action will be in full force.

“With the challenging terrain offered at Swain Resort, riders will be challenged by the new hill. The AMA Pro Hillclimb Series has been searching for new venues and Swain Resort is a perfect spot for the series to grow and thrive,” said Scott Campbell, president of the Professional Hillclimbers Association. “It will be great to bring an AMA Pro Hillclimb event back to this area of New York. The fans here couldn’t be more eager and ready for the intense hillclimb action.”

After a change in management at the Swain Resort in 2009, the owners have been able to move forward on finally hosting this event, which has been a top priority of theirs for several years. The new venue expects to bring excitement to not only the fans, but the riders that will be competing as well.
